The Future of Work

Monday Message from Jerry Houston, President and CEO of HPISolutions

Friends:

I am a huge fan of Korn Ferry and their insight to all issues related to the world of work.  In a recent article, FUTURE OF WORK, Korn Ferry talks about 7 key trends that we all need to be focused on:

  • REINVENTION – Redesign to stay relevant
  • SCARCITY – Surviving the Big Quit
  • VITALITY – Beat burnout
  • INDIVIDUALITY – Make business personal
  • INCLUSIVITY – Unleash the power of all
  • ACCOUNTABILITY – Stand by what you do
  • SUSTAINABILITY – Shape the smarter future

Of these issues, according to a Korn Ferry survey of 1000 people, the three trends organizations were most struggling with are Scarcity, Reinvention and Inclusivity.  This caught my attention because our new process, The Prioritized Leader, addresses these issues head-on.  You recognize, I am sure, that it is a tight labor market and you must pay attention to creative ways to attract and retain the best talent available if you are to execute on your purpose.  Your organization must be focused on innovation and creative problem-solving to stay relevant in the market.  You must also connect at a high level with your team, attracting a wide range of individual perspectives in order to maintain a wildly engaged team of people who can collaborate and provide top service to your clients.

Wednesday, April 13th at 8:30 AM PDT, tune in to our webinar, Is Your Plate Too Full?, to participate in a deeper understanding of the issues that will impact the world of work as we all move forward together in 2022 and beyond.  Registration will open later this week, however, if you send an email to info@hpisolutions.com, Kathy will add you to our early bird list.  We look forward to exploring these important issues and assisting in getting some of the “stuff” off of your plate!

Have A Great Week!

P.S.  If you would like to read more from Korn Ferry on their Future of Work concept, let us know and we will get send you a copy of their findings and suggestions for improvement.
