Steve is a former Senior Vice President with PepsiCo and built large successful teams both domestically and in several international markets. Steve specializes in the areas of individual and team leadership development and organizational performance. Steve’s consulting experience includes working with clients on process improvement, executive coaching, teambuilding, succession planning, mentoring, and organizational analysis engagements. He works with senior leaders and their teams to maximize individual and organizational results. As a seasoned leadership coach, Steve guides the leaders he works with to leverage their strengths, while simultaneously assisting them with their developmental opportunities. In addition to Steve’s success as an individual leadership coach, he has a proven track record of helping senior leadership teams to be more successful by bringing focus, developing teamwork and enhancing productivity. As a result of his leadership development engagements, Steve has brought senior leadership teams to focus on a specific strategy, improved direct communication and has guided individuals to be more productive and effective throughout their organization.
Steve also has extensive experience facilitating strategy sessions and offsite group meetings to produce the maximum desired results. With over 25 years of corporate experience in large Fortune 100 companies and small organizations alike, 17 of those as a senior executive, (domestically and internationally), Steve has faced and worked through the very issues that his clients encounter every day. He has successfully managed several diverse organizational functions, while responsible for a department of over 400 employees and being accountable for over $400 million in capital spending. While working with such a large and diverse group, Steve developed a succession planning and mentoring program that was adopted company-wide and is still in use today.
Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University. Steve has also completed extensive postgraduate work in leadership, management and strategic planning at the University of Virginia (Darden Business School), M.I.T., the University of Michigan and UCLA.
