Well-known for her expertise in finding solutions to workplace issues, Ginny McMinn has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources (HR). She has held executive level HR positions and, in her 21 years in business, has consulted with clients in a variety of industries.As Founder and Owner of McMinn HR™, her consulting and training firm, Ginny devotes herself to her clients’ needs, working toward both problem solving and education. Besides counseling, training, program development and policy formation, Ginny helps her clients with the basic HR responsibilities of wage and salary administration, recordkeeping, safety, compensation plans, recruiting, employee relations and preventative labor relations, planning, budgeting and organizational assessment.
Ginny earned her BA in English Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MS in Industrial Relations/Human Resources from the Institute of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Loyola University of Chicago. She has been awarded Lifetime Accreditation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute; a Certificate in Employee Relations Law from the Institute of Applied Management and Law; and an Arizona Certificate in Mediation. Ginny serves as a member of the Practitioner Faculty at the University of Phoenix Online in both Human Resources and Graduate Business Studies.
